Linda Quillen GNP Awarded Outstanding NETNPA Nurse Practitioner for 2011

During the May 10, 2011 National Nurses Week Celebration and Awards Dinner Linda Quillen GNP was awarded the outstanding NETNPA nurse practitioner for 2011.
Linda knew she wanted to be a nurse by age 5. She began her BSN education in 1982, at the age of 32. After graduating Linda worked in numerous nursing positions including, Woodridge (psychiatric practice), Home Health, and ICU. Continuing her professional growth she completed her graduate education from ETSU as a geriatric nurse practitioner at age 50. Linda began her advanced nursing practice in Nursing Homes. In 2005, Linda formed her own private practice as a contract GNP with several nursing homes. Linda provides both primary and psychiatric care to the LTC facility residents. As expected this visionary currently has the goal of developing a home care practice in Johnson County. There is no doubt that Linda does accomplish her goals! Please join us in congratulating this most deserving colleague!
