Preceptor Data Bank and Second Quarter Donation Drive--Quick Look at March 2021 Business Meeting

Two highlights from March's Business Meeting:

#1 Preceptor Data Bank--we will be attempting to compile a list of resources for students to assist them in locating a preceptor for their Nurse Practitioner clinicals.  Students are typically tasked with finding their own Nurse Practitioner preceptors during school.  This was already a challenge for students due to the number of programs in the area, but the extra layer of COVID restrictions has added another obstacle.

Traci Childress has generously offered to assist our organization in compiling a list of preceptors that may be offering preceptorship.  If you are a Nurse Practitioner accepting students (now or possibly in the future) please email your information to NETNPA@registerednurses.com or message us on our website.  If you are a student and have been fortunate enough to have a wonderful preceptor, please share with us your contact so that we can help other students.  We want to offer this resource to Student Members.

#2 Abuse Alternatives has been selected as the 2nd Quarter Donation Drive recipient.

The plan is to provide you with ways to donate to Abuse Alternatives as a member of NETNPA.  We will soon provide you with ways to make your monetary contribution and will be working on a merchandise drive via Bonfire with proceeds from the sale of merchandise to go Abuse Alternatives.
