NETNPA Student Scholarship 2017 Spring Award

The Northeast Tennessee Nurse Practitioner Association (NETNPA) in our committment to promote and support future Advanced Practice Nurses (APNs) who will serve the Northeast Tennessee region upon graduation is pleased to announce the Spring 2017 Nurse Practitioner Student Scholarship award goes to

Ms. Carissa Myers, RN BSN, DNP-S.

Carissa is a fulltime student in the  ETSU DNP Program. Carissa is currently a full-time Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) student at East Tennessee State University College of Nursing. After graduation as a DNP in May, she plans to work in a primary care setting, working with adults and older adults. These patients are her passion. In the future, as a Registered Nurse DNP,  she aspires to expand her practice into the long term care settings and the care of hospice patients.
