  • Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing assignment)
  • Duration: 13 weeks (option to extend)
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (varied)
  • Estimated Weekly Salary: $3150-$3370
  • Patient Volume: Average 40 patients per shift (adults and pediatrics, ages 6 months+)
  • EMR: Epic (training provided, proficiency required)

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or acute care settings
  • Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license and Board Certification (NP Boards required)
  • BLS certification required
  • Experience treating both adult and pediatric patients (ages 6 months+)
  • Epic EMR proficiency or willingness to complete training
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently as the sole healthcare provider
  • Completion of onboarding and EMR training (held on set Wednesdays)

Healthcare Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive urgent care to patients of all ages, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment
  • Perform minor procedures: I&D, laceration repair, ear irrigation, and other urgent care interventions
  • Manage a high-volume patient load with compassion and efficiency
  • Accurately document patient encounters in Epic EMR
  • Collaborate with clinical support staff: Center Manager, Medical Assistant, Patient Service Associate
  • Participate in onboarding and ongoing clinical training sessions
  • Uphold the center’s commitment to high-quality, community-focused healthcare in Greenville, NC
