Flexible Weekend Cardiac Surgery Opportunity in North Carolina for PA-C New

Seeking experienced cardiac and thoracic PA-C for weekend inpatient and OR coverage in High Point, North Carolina. Enjoy a flexible schedule with travel accommodations provided.

Schedule:

• Minimum 2 weekends per month
• Friday 5pm - Monday 8am
• Option for weekday 12-hour shifts for increased hours

Practice Setting:

• Hospital environment
• Manage inpatient and OR cases
• Supported by 5 MDs and 3 APPs
• Adult patient population

Cases and Procedures:

• Cardiac post-op care (remove chest tubes, pacing wires)
• Pre and post-op care for cardiac and thoracic patients
• Discharge planning and patient education
• New consults and emergency department consults
• Instill medications into chest tubes

Requirements:

• Board Certification required
• NC state license; compact licensing available
• ACLS certification
• 3 years of experience in Cardiac and Thoracic surgery

Credentialing Requirements:

• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days
