Learning Objectives
At the end of this program, attendees will be able to understand the appropriate uses for DOACs, their uses, risks and benefits and be able to state at least one intended practice change related to care of the patient with thromboembolic disease.
Speakers
Emergency medical technician for several years prior to becoming a registered nurse. While working on my degree for nursing I worked at HackensackUMC as a patient care technician in the CCU. Currently working as a Quality Improvement Speacialist in HMH Palisades, worked 1 year at Alantic Health- Overlook Emergency Department, 4 years at Holy Name Medical Center in the emergency department, and worked at Hackensack Mardian Health - Palisades Emergency department
